Sephora It Palette - Delicate Nude

I heard about this palette from a friend who had recently purchased this in a Sephora store in Spain. She raved about how great this palette was but as I had just placed an order on the American site I didn't go out of my way to purchase this from the EU site. A family member of mine was travelling to France this month so I asked that if they came across this palette if they could pick it up for me and to my surprise I received this yesterday when they arrived home.

This is the Sephora It Palette in Delicate Nude and there are a few different colours in the It Palette range. There is this one Delicate Nude, Smokey, Nude and Neutrals and they kind of remind me of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, these aren't exact dupes but they have similar colour schemes. The packaging on this is to die for (as shown below) it is a cream snake skin pattern.

I find that this palette comes with a lot of wearable shades for an everyday look or it could be used to go from a day to night look as the shimmer shades are amazing. I like the fact that it comes with a brush and a built in mirror that way I can use it when I travel. I'm not too sure how I feel about the eyeliner, I'm not one to use a brown pencil liner so I probably wont get much use out of it. Also I'm a bit confused about the eyeliner brush that comes with it, yes its good to have an eyeliner brush but I wouldn't use any of these colours as a liner because they aren't bold enough.

In my opinion there are some really good shades here, such as the first five, these really stand out to me as shades everyone would get great use out of. I stopped at six because its a shimmery and matte brown and that shade for me doesn't show up well enough on its own, however all the shades are buildable but they do get chalky as the matte ones are packed on top of each other. The last swatch is the eyeliner, which I definitely don't like, it doesn't give much colour pay off and when I tried to build on the colour it started smudging.

Overall I am really happy with this palette, it retails for € 29.95 (£23), I think this is only available in the EU, but I'm pretty sure Sephora ships worldwide. This was my first time trying out Sephora eye shadows and I'm very happy with them. If anyone does get the chance to buy these, definitely do, I can't speak for the other shades as I haven't tried them but this Delicate Nude one is amazing and worth the money.
