June Favourites

This month I haven't tried out many new products so I don't have many favourites. However I have a huge pile of products waiting to be tested so hopefully some of those products will appear in next months favourites.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette
I purchased this on its first release as Champagne Pop is one of my favourite highlighters of all time. Also Jaclyn Hill is probably my favourite youtuber, I love everything she stands for and the way she described this palette as her 'dream' made me need it. I have a full first impressions on this product when I first got it so I wont go into to much detail on it but I think everyone needs this. Prosecco Pop is just as amazing as Champagne Pop, its more of a dramatic highlight and I haven't put it down this month.

Jouer Cosmetics Long-Wear Lip Topper
I was recommended this by a friend who is completely obsessed with Jouer Cosmetics, I at this point hadn't even heard of it so I did my research into it and this product did seem like something I would love. Its supposed to be worn on top of liquid lipsticks to make them shiny like a gloss but keeps the pigment of the lipstick underneath. I tried this over liquid lipsticks that I personally find too drying to wear for a long time and it made them a lot more comfortable to wear and made them last slightly longer too.

Urban Decay Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick - Backtalk
Urban Decay came out with 100 new lipsticks in six finishes, mega matte, comfort matte, sheer, sheer shimmer, cream and metallized. As much as I would love to own them all, I've decided to purchase just one at a time, starting with Backtalk. I'm trying more pink lipsticks lately instead of nude and this one is the perfect mix of pink and nude. It also wore very comfortably throughout the day, it wasn't drying at all and it lasts quite well too. I will definitely be getting more of the vice lipsticks, if anyone can mention their favourites it would be lovely to hear what you guys like.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Drink of H20 Hydrating Boost
I purchased this in the Skin Squad Deluxe Discovery Set from Sephora, I love these little sets because it gives you the chance to try products without buying the fullsize. I tried out everything in the set but I fell in love with this little pot of heaven, I didn't know I needed moisture in my face until i tried this. The scent alone is amazing but after I use this on my face and neck it leaves my face looking a feeling very hydrated. An additional bonus to this product is that when makeup is applied on top of this it helps the makeup settle into the skin and not just sit on top of it. I'm not sure if I will purchase the fullsize as its quite big and I love the compact size of the tester size. If I do purchase the fullsize I will keep the smaller pot and top that up so I can travel with this.

The POREfessional:Matte Rescue and Mattifying Gel
I purchased yet another try it set, this time the Benefit POREfessional Pores away set. I have had my eye on the POREfessional products but have never tried them so I picked this up in Debenhams last month when it was 10% off too. I found both this and the original POREfessional both eliminated pores to the same standard but I preferred this one purely for its mattifying ability. I have quite large pores on my nose and my nose is very oily, so I struggle to mattify my nose without it looking drying and highlighting all my pores. This makes my nose look flawless and it makes me a lot more confident when taking up close photos as I was always quite insecure about how it looked in photos. I will definitely be purchasing the full size of this product.
