July Favourites

I have been looking for my perfect drugstore foundation since I can remember and I think I've finally found it. I've tried a lot of L'Oreal, Rimmel and Maybelline foundations and I've found something wrong with every one that I try. This one however is just perfect, it gives my skin an amazing luminosity without looking cakey and it doesn't break me out like some drugstore foundations. It has amazing coverage and lasts all day, I can honestly compare this to the coverage of my Estee Lauder double wear foundation. Anyone looking for an affordable drugstore foundation should definitely check this out.

Benefit Ka-BROW and Duel ended eyebrow brush | £18.50 & £15.50
I picked these up when they were released into the UK at the end of June and I can honestly say that I haven't worn anything on my brows since. I went into store and got colour matched as I wanted to make sure I was getting the right colour, when I was being tested the sales assistant used this brush and it felt amazing so I had to pick it up too. I find the duel ended brush applies the Ka-BROW more precisely than the brush that comes with it. The brush that comes with it feels a bit cheep and it needs to be washes a lot so product doesn't build up in it, that's why I would recommend the duel ended brush with it. A tiny bit of the product goes a long way, that's why there'e barely a dent in mine as I use very little product.

Travel Sized Mac Prep + Prime | £10
I hadn't ever tried this, even though its used all over Youtube I could never justify buying it until I saw this travel sized version the other week. I have been using this as a priming spray and a setting spray and in my opinion it works quite well. I don't think I prefer it to my Urban Decay Setting Spray yet but I could be swayed. I haven't yet tried this on my brushes to brighten eye shadows, but I can't wait to give it a go. The size of this is perfect to just throw in your bag and take out for the day, I like to use this throughout the day when my makeup feels heavy to just spay this on to put moisture back into my skin. I couldn't find this online to link however it is available in Mac Stores.

Sleek Makeup Blush - Rose Gold | £4.99
I heard about this blush though a makeup dupe Instagram account and this was supposedly a dupe for NARS Orgasm. I don't own NARS Orgasm but its a blush I've wanted forever, I just couldn't justify the price. So I went on a mission to see how similar these two were, below are the swatches, the top is NARS Orgasm and the bottom is Sleek Rose Gold.
As you can see the two are very similar and I personally prefer the Sleek Makeup one as it has so much more pigment than the NARS one. Obviously I haven't tried the NARS on my face but the Sleek one has the same amount of pigment on the face and lasts well throughout the day. For the price I would defintely stick with the Sleek Makeup one as its under £5.
