March Favourites

My favourite was to contour this month has been with these three benefit products Dew the Hoola Liquid Bronzer(£22.50), Hoola Bronzing and Contouring Brush(£17.50) and Hoola Bronzer(£23.50). I think these three products giver the best contour results, I tried out the Hoola Bronzer for the first park of the month and the liquid bronzer and brush were released in the middle and I have been obsessed ever since.  I do have a first impressions of these products that can be found here.

I purchased these as soon as they were released on BeautyBay, as I had waited for them to come to the UK for so long. My first thought when using them is that they were so powdery that I felt I was wasting so much of the product every time I used it. I had a feeling this was more to do with the brush I was using than the actual product so I put off using these until I could find a brush that pared with them well.  It turns out my new favourite contour brush (mentioned above) goes hand in hand with this product and I get the results I desired when purchasing them.  However they are so pigmented that I have to use a light hand otherwise the colours do apply way too dark on me. They retail at £7.95, the lighter shade is Bad Habit and the darker shade is Half Hearted. I highly recommend these as they are really good value for money.

I have had this a while and just never used it much but this month when I was looking to change up the blush I was using I can across this Kiko blush(£4) in my makeup collection and thought I’d give it a try. And was I glad I did as it’s so pigmented. It blends out like a dream, it’s everything you’d want in a good blush. It goes with most looks and it can be used with a light hand for a subtle blush or a heavy hand for rosy cheeks.

I use the tiniest bit of this eye shadow on a daily basis and it makes a huge difference. With my everyday makeup look I don’t like to go too over the top and so I decided to cut back on the eye shadow I wore daily. This immediately made my eyes look to plain and I really didn't like that. So I tried putting a bit of Crème Brulèe(£4.95) just in my crease and it made a huge difference in the way my eyes looked.

The formula of this concealer is flawless and it’s extremely high coverage. I use a mixture of Fair Neutral and Medium-Light Neutral(£17.50) and this creates the perfect shade for my skin tone, as I order these online I haven’t swatched all of the range to find one that matches me. I have not yet found a concealer that comes close to this one, if anyone knows of one please let me know.
