Top Face Makeup Brushes

e.l.f Ultimate Blending Brush | £7.50
I use this brush to apply foundation, I do this by firstly dotting the foundation all over my face. I then use this brush in circular motions to blend it all in evenly. when I've blended all the foundation in I use this same brush to push the foundation into my skin by just lightly dabbing all over my face.
Real Techniques Buffing Brush | Core Collection Set £21.99
Once you've applied foundation it is important to set it, this will help contour, blush and highlight blend easier. I use this brush to dab on power, its important to dab and not rub because if its rubbed it will just move the foundation under it. This brush is really good for applying powder as its so dense that it picks up the right amount of product and helps distribute it evenly. The only downside to this brush is that its only sold in the core collection set but I personally think the set it worth it because I use every brush in the set.
Lottie London Blush Brush | £7.99
I was looking for a blush brush as I didn't have one in my collection and I was just using a multi-purpose brush, this became a problem because I was using it for various things in one makeup look. I was attracted to this brush because of its bright lilac colour, I could just imagine it looking really good in my collection. It applies blush quite heavily as it picks up a lot of product, so I use it with a light hand and try to tap off as much product as I can.
Benefit Hoola Bronzing and Contouring Brush | £17.50
I can not recommend this brush enough, I absolutely love it. I have tried so many contour bushes and none of them come close to this one! Not only does it apply contour flawlessly but it gives a great sharp contour line. The price is quite high for one brush but its 100% worth it and it looks so beautiful on my vanity. I do have a full review of it here.
Real Techniques Contour Brush | Core Collection Set £21.99
I don't believe this works best as a contour brush in comparison to the benefit brush, you don't need to use brushes for what they are recommended for. Once I have applied concealer and blended it out I use this brush to dab on some translucent powder, then I swipe it away with this same brush. I then use this same brush to dab on a banana coloured powder to brighten under the eye and set the concealer on my forehead and down my nose. This also is only sold in the Core Collection set, but as you can see I use two of the four everyday for my face makeup.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my favourite brushes, don't forget these brushes can be used for whatever you want, these are just my personal preferences.
